1Above is an awesome New Zealand product developed to counter the negative impacts of travel fatigue. Their primary distribution channel is through kiosks, vending machines and retail stores at Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne airports, but they have an ambition to conquer the world so a new website played a key role in this.

1Above engaged us to review how they could connect with their audience online, and they brought quite a unique challenge to the table for us to address. They had a desire for eCommerce capability to open up their sales channels to the world, but also still had to counter not only low brand awareness but low category awareness. People are not going to buy something they don’t even know exists after all.

After some extensive collaborative strategic work understanding 1Aboves target consumers, and their journeys, the end result was a Magento based website which combined a slick eCommerce experience with a powerful brand platform to deliver product and brand information in an engaging way. Whilst 1Above doesnt look like your typical white background, box-structured eCommerce website, there are a number of opportunities to buy from the homepage alone, so we think this site delivers a unique mix of best practise eCommerce without losing the ability to tell stories.
